A native born Cherokee Indian who was born and died on the Cherokee reservation in Tennessee. He lived in North Carolina and Georgia.

Sanders married SHOEMAKE, Nancy Ann in CA 1793 in Cherokee Nation, TN. Nancy (daughter of SHOEMAKE, Samson\John and Cah-Tah-La-Tah) was born in CA 1780 in SC; died in 1850 in Crow, AL. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. SMITH, Sa-Wat-Chee was born in 1795 in Crow Town, Cherokee Nation, TN; and died.
3. SHOEMAKE\SMITH, John A. was born in 1803 in Chesterfield County, SC; and died.
4. SMITH, Anna was born in 1806 in KY; died before 1906.
5. SMITH, Jordan was born in CA 1810 in SC; and died.
