  He graduated from the Kalamazoo High School in 1903; from Kalamazoo College (Ph.B. 1907) and from the University of Chicago (Ph.B. 1907) and from the University of Chicago (Ph.B. 1907). He has followed the profession of teaching and is now principal of the Dort School at Flint, MI. He was the principal of South Junior High School, in Flint, MI in 1925.
