    • Morgan Depuy Puffer owned one of the largest gun collections in private hands in the US in 1924. One was used in the Battle of Lexington (1775). He also has the patent awarded to Elisha Mack, his great-grandfather, for a water-wheel used in milling. President John Madison signed it.
