- Elder William BREWSTER, aged about forty-two years, came before the ald ermen at Leiden, Holland on 12 June 1609, as guardian of Ann PECK, nati ve of Launde, when they granted to Thomas SIMKINSON, merchant of Hull ( he probably was son of John and Mary (SMYTHE) SYMKINSON and half-brothe r of Elder William BREWSTER), Power of Attorney to receive seven pounds s terling that Ann had left with Rev. William WATKIN, pastor of Clarborou gh when she left England.
