PUFFER, Lavern M. 91, of St. Petersburg, passed away Feb. 27. He was a native of Streater, IL and moved to this area in 1959. He was a retired realtor and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the VFW and the Harmonica Club. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Elsie; his son Richard (Patti) Puffer; his sister, Gladys Klamka; 3 grandchildren, Scott, Lori and Kristy; and 4 great-grandchildren, Camden, Ethan, Kinley and Colby. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, at 10 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home. They will receive friends, Wednesday, from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
