    • She graduated from St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing in 1944 and then joined the Army Medical Corps as a nurse and was stationed at Base Borden and Chorely Park.

      She was a civilian and army nurse, a wife and mother and a community volunteer. She was current and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 302. She also held previous executive offices. She was active in the Gravenhurst Seniors' Centre.
