    • She appears along with her daughter Jane M. in the 1850 and 1860 Federal Census as a domestic in the household of Charles Turner. Her name is spelled Permelia/Parmela in some records, but her g.s. clearly shows Pamela.

      There is some doubt that she's married to a "Puffer". The 1790 Federal Census for Delaware County (Stamford), NY shows what looks like it could be "Pieffer". It's not clear
