  According to the 1900 Federal Census she was imprisoned at the Bridgewater Work Farm, Bridgewater, MA (42 yrs old). She was widowed and had been married for 22 yrs. She had no children. Who is she? The only other "Nellie" that might fit this census entry is Nellie Fuller Manning, wife of Daniel Jacob Puffer. But death bio speaks of a totally different type of person than someone who is a prisoner at a work farm. Another possibility is Eleanor (?) Puffer found in the 1920 Federal Census for Worcester, MA, who is widowed and born ca 1858 in ME. She's a housekeeper for Mary Mills, 30 Millbrook Street, Worcester.
