  She raised money and gave it the foreign and home missions. Harriet Atwood Newell of Haverhill, MA, was the first American foreign missionary to die in the field. Her "Memoirs...." was given to Hannah for her generosity. The "Memoirs" now reside in the Museum of the Bible, in Washington, DC
