  Graduated from West Point in 1888. He is (1915) stationed at Ft. Crockett, Texas and was previously at Ft. Custer, Ft Missoula, and Ft Harris on; Ft. Baynard, NM; at Fargo, ND; as instructor in mathematics and military drill at the State College; in Alaska at Cape Nome where with Gen. Kendall he went to establish martial law; served in Cuba and the Philippines; was chief of the Sixth Relief section in San Francisco in 1906, and received high praise for his management of the situation after the earthquake. He has recently served in the Mexican difficulty at Vera Cruz and is now at Galveston. He was commissioned Major in 1912 on his return from the Philippines.
