According to the Mt Hope Interment Records (http://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc2/00000672.pdf), Samuel Puffer was removed to the Southwest 1/4 of Lot 218 in Section Y (after originally being buried in the [Old] Single Graves). The plot map for this lot (available here: http://crpc.nyrgs.org/) confirms his burial at this location along with two other family members. However, there is no surviving markers for any of the Puffer's buried here (in agreement with a survey of surviving legible markers in Section Y that was done in the 1980s: http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-y.htm). This is a photo of the location, looking toward the southeast. The Seif's in the left background are in the Northwest 1/4 of Lot 218, while the Frear's in the right foreground are in Northwest 1/4 of neighboring lot 217.
