    His name appears on a list of interments to this cemetery, however whether he was catholic or not is a question. It's unlikely given his family's association with protestant denominations. It could be that his wife was catholic and he rests beside her. However her name doesn't appear as being interred here.

    He left Woodstock Baptist College in 1895 and taught school for three years. In 1899 he located at Saskatchewan and for 16 years followed farming at Audrey. In the spring of 1915 he sold his farm with stock and implements for over $16,000. He is now postmaster of Audrey. In college he studied for the ministry and he has been active in church work, filling a number of appointments in Baptist, Methodist and Presbyterian churches. For 12 years he was superintendent of the Sunday School.

    He was a carpenter by trade and for many years a lumberman. He was employed in bridge-building on the D.S.S. & A Mich., the Minneapolis & St. Paul and the C.P.N. railroads. He was once away from home eighteen months working in the Rocky Mountains on snow sleds. In 1889 he went to live with his son in Saskatchewan, Canada. He was prominent in the order of Orangemen having been master of his lodge in Minden, Ontario, for many years. In religion he was a Methodist.
    In 1911 he is listed as a postmaster and re-married to Amilda M. (no marriage date).

    He went to Canada when young. He was a physician and farmer, faithful worker in the Methodist Church, "one of God's best men."

    He moved to Canada when 21 years old. He had studied medicine, but gave up the profession on account of ill health. For about nine years he had a farm near Smith's Falls, Ontario; then bought a 640 acre farm near Westport, Ontario where he followed farming for 21 years. Finally he settled in Minden, Ontario. He was a Methodist in religion and Conservative in politics. He was always known as Dr. Puffer and acquired a reputation for setting broken limbs, etc.
