For a number of years he has kept a variety store at Pawtucket, RI, where his is now living. He is a member of the Masonic order and is a Baptist in religion. He belongs to the following foreign Masonic bodies: The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Grand Orient of Naples; Ancient and Primitive Rite; Rite of Memphis; Rite of Mizraine.
The RI State Census of 1915 shows him being born in England. He was a weaver in a cotton mill at that time.
