  He resided at Berkley. He was a machinist and engineer and was employed in the locomotive works of Taunton and Providence, RI. Civil War Veteran, US Navy, enlisted, May 17 1861 at New Bedford, MA. He served on the Recg. ship Ohio, and the USS Dale. Discharged 13 Jun 1864, from the USS Princeton, as a Landsman. He was a member of King Philip Lodge, No. 44, I.O.O.F. and Naomi Encampment of Patriarchs, No. 14 of Taunton.
