    • Educated in public and high schools of Natick; and at Boston University, where he studied law. In 1893 he was appointed deputy sheriff of Middlesex County; from 1904-1911 he was court messenger, and since 1911 he has been court officer of the Middlesex Probate court. In 1902-5 he was associated with his brother William in the shoe business. In 1906 he was selectman of Natick. Resided in E. Cambridge.
