  Civil War Veteran, Pvt, 46th Massachusetts Regiment. He was educated in the Concord schools and learned the trades of hatter, woodturner and circular sawyer. After his marriage he lived for a time at Duckinfield, England. At last accounts he lived in Clarendon, VT. According to the 1910 US Federal Census he was living with his daughter Florence and family and widowed. In 1930 he was living with his son, William and family in Pawtucket, RI. -- MERGED NOTE ------------ He was educated in the Concord schools and learned the trades of hatter, woodturner and circular sawyer. He served in the Civil War in the 46th Mass. Regt. After his marriage he lived for a time at Duckinfield, England. At last accounts he lived in Clarendon, VT.
