Notes |
- His obituary names him as one of Oregon's pioneers who came to Oregon by ox team in October of 1861, with is wife and three children. They passed over the Oregon Trail through Indian country in Baker County, OR.
He settled in the present site of the town of Echo, OR and owned a ferry, transporting immigrants over the Umatilla River.
He raised cattle later in his life before retiring a few years before his death.
