  She was taken by Indians to Canada after the 1689 Cocheco Massacre. She remained in Canada, educated by the nuns, married a Frenchman, Louis LeBeau, on 6/14/1707, with her parent's names listed on mar. record as 'Richard Otis and *Marie Magdeleine Lagarenne.' She had three children; Louis Lebeau, born 11/20/1708 and died 1/26/1709, Marie Anne Christine born 6/14/1710 and died 12/17/1726, and Marie Madeleine born 5/20/1712and died about 3/2/1722. Louis died 2/26/1713, seven yrs after their marriage.
